Colfax Marathon
On May 19th and 20th, the DOOR Dwellers/YAVs will be participating in an annual event here in Denver: the Colfax Marathon.
Colfax Avenue is the longest continuous street in the United States, and every year, runners participate in several running events along its length to raise money and awareness for various charities and nonprofits. This year, DOOR Denver is one of those organizations.
My roommates and I are getting ready. Darby will be running in the marathon relay, and Sydney and I are walking a 5k. We have several fantastic volunteers who are doing this with us, but there's still time to sign up if you want to join in!

All funds raised will go directly to the Dwell/YAV program here in Denver, providing money for food, rent, materials for training and studying social justice issues, etc.
